Our unforgettable tour departs from the picturesque port of Tropea and heads south along the legendary Coast of the Gods.
Leaving the port, the first leg of our journey takes us to the magnificent hidden bays of Praia i Focu in Capo Vaticano. Here, prepare to be enchanted by a glimpse of paradise: imposing granite rocks, pure white seabeds, and crystal-clear waters teeming with fish.
Soon after, we’ll reach Capo Vaticano’s most famous bay, Grotticelle, where we’ll make our first swim stop. This bay is famous for a unique feature: the rock depicted on the Amaro del Capo bottle, which serves as its evocative backdrop.
From there, we’ll set off towards Formicoli, known in ancient times as “Forum Erculis.” This ancient Roman port boasts emerald waters and a rocky seabed ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts! And it’s in this corner of paradise that, between a refreshing dip, a swim, and great music, we’ll celebrate our beautiful day with a glass of bubbly, accompanied by taralli or chips.
Next, our journey continues towards Santa Domenica. We’ll pass the splendid Riaci Bay, where you can admire the “Scoglio nave di Riaci” (Riaci Ship Rock), which, with its caves and inlets, received a prestigious recognition from National Geographic in 2022 as the most beautiful bay in Italy for snorkeling.
But beware: the real highlight of our tour is yet to come! On the home stretch, between Santa Domenica and Tropea, lies a small cove known as the “Grotta dello Scheletro” (Skeleton Cave) or “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Cave). The reason for this is the unique internal lighting, which creates a truly magical optical effect. This is where we’ll make our final swimming stop, immersed in a small paradise teeming with marine life.
To conclude, we’ll return to the port, passing by the beautiful and scenic town built on the cliff, admiring the majestic island of Tropea.

Briatico Tour: The Adventure Begins North of the Coast of the Gods
Our unforgettable tour departs from the Port of Tropea and heads north, exploring the spectacular Coast of the Gods.
Parghelia: Pristine Bays and Hidden Treasures
As soon as we leave the port, we’ll sail towards Parghelia, where nature graces us with the pristine “Michelino” bay. Here, you can admire the perfect harmony between the enchanting cliffs and the stunning turquoise waters.
Continuing, on our right, we’ll admire the iconic granite stack known as “La Pizzuta,” now a symbol of the city, nestled between the sea and the beach.
La Tonnara: First Stop for Swimming and Marine Refuge
Immediately afterward, still in the crystal-clear waters of Parghelia, we’ll discover “La Tonnara” bay. This enchanting place, accessible only by sea, has become a veritable sanctuary for countless fish thanks to its artificial reefs. It’s here that we’ll make our first refreshing swim stop.
Diver’s Paradise: Crystal-Clear Waters and Snorkeling
Next, we’ll head towards Zambrone and the famous “Diving Paradise” coves, rightly considered among the most beautiful on the entire Tyrrhenian coast. Named for their white seabeds and crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life, they are enclosed by sheer cliffs. Naturally, we’ll also stop here for snorkeling and to admire the underwater beauty up close.
Briatico: Mystery and History at Murenario
Once back on board, our route will take us to the “Murenario di Sant’Irene” in Briatico. This small bay will leave you speechless not only for its unique rock formation, but also for the fascinating history it holds, a testament to the beauty of this coast.
A Toast to End on a High Note
Once you’re done exploring and swimming, a delicious aperitif with Prosecco and taralli awaits you upon your return on board, to toast this carefree day and the friendships you’ve made!
